About Me
My name is Lourdes Castro and I have over 18 years of experience in the medical field, specializing in phlebotomy. My other areas of expertise include hematology/oncology, family practice, and ophthalmology.

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York City, I graduated from the NY School of Medical and Dental Assistance in 2003. I was inspired to create Hands That Care Mobile Phlebotomy upon seeing the challenge many patients go through in finding dependable healthcare transportation or having difficulty in obtaining lab specimens.

My extensive healthcare background allows me to extend my professional skills to provide the highest level of compassionate care. My calling is to maintain a special touch and work with the most sensitive of patients.

My credentials include Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), CPR Certification, OSHA/HIPAA Certification, and being a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).

I look forward to providing highly specialized care to you or your patient.
